I just ran across this book and have been hearing a lot of buzz about making jewelry with resin. I made some resin paperweights and such when I was a kid, but haven’t given it any thought since then. Great Book for Beginning Beaders!

My good friend, Cindy, gave me this book for Christmas a couple of years ago. I have enjoyed it and have made several of the projects in it since then. I really want to recommend that anyone who is getting started in beading pick this book up:
Bead Fantasies: Beautiful, Easy-to-Make Jewelry

The illustrations walk the beader step-by-step through completing the projects. There are projects for necklaces, rings, bracelets…everything! These projects will make great gifts…after all, the holidays are coming up!

Just in case you missed my earlier post, here’s the book Cece Wire has written about PMC techniques:
Creative Metal Clay Jewelry: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration

She has another book due to be released in December that contains a lot more advanced projects and techniques. If it’s half a good as this one, or her class, it will be worth getting, for sure!
