What a hoot!  I just heard about the annual ugly necklace contest sponsored by Land of Odds. Now, all of us that make jewelry have experienced that moment when the item we had in mind turned out to be not so wonderful once we actually brought it to life. Most of the time, we just pull it apart and rework the components into something much more beautiful. However, there are some who must enjoy the mistakes as well as the successes they create.
